Listening to songs about death and heaven while thinking about risk and the interplay between subtext and the difference between the expected and the actual. Too many obvious questions resound, too many familiar scenes play out in my head. A look, a smile, a giggle. Where does this carry us? "It was nice while it lasted"? More opportunities ignored.
I know I get like this when I have something on my mind. The present issue is that I'm not exactly sure what that "something" is. I can't pinpoint it. I have an idea. And if I'm right, I'll just have to let it blow over, just like everything else. S

Catalogue of smiles and tears in fast forward, significance echoed in the growing and extended absence of affinity. It's been a long time since I've done anything here. I haven't written anything in a while, nothing like I used to write. I've had a few spurts lately, but I can't seem to muster anything profound or... even anything that would accurately reflect the things in my head lately. So yeah, I spent a while away. Didn't have much reason to be here, I was kind of in a rut. It's good times.

In my second year of college now, we're in the middle of our season and things could be going better. Everything else seems so monotonous: entertainment, conversations, my life. Yes, certain things stand out. But that's neither here nor there. Whatever, yet another thing that I can't figure out. Hmm.

I should get some sleep. I don't know when I will update again. Have a nice night.
